The Hueznar riverbank trail, which connects the Cazalla-Constantina station with the El Pedroso station, is the most beautiful trail in the province of Seville. Its vegetation, gallery forests, the sound of the river flow, the song of numerous birds, and other details make this trail magical.
09:00 hrs Breakfast
Departure by train to the Cazalla-Constantina station from where we will start the route. Before departure, you will be provided with supplies for the hike.
A 15 km downhill route, with medium to low difficulty
During the route, we will enjoy the gallery forest ecosystem, where humid areas with many trees and abundant bird species such as swifts, eagles, vultures, robins, kingfishers, etc., provide the extra calm we so need in the city. The sound of the river's flow and its torrents will accompany us throughout the journey.
Along the route, we will also see the remnants of old mills, mainly flour and wheat mills, which used the power of the Hueznar to move their heavy machinery.
Midway through the route, we will come across the ruins of the Pedroso Factory. These historic facilities were built at the end of the 19th century by the El Pedroso Mines and Factories Company, thus constituting the first iron and steel industry in Seville, with the aim of benefiting from the area's iron minerals, particularly those from the Rosalino, Monteagudo, Juan Teniente, Navalázaro mines, and all those in the Cerro del Hierro, located in San Nicolás del Puerto.
Once we reach the La Jaroso recreational area, we will be transported by private vehicles for the last 5 km of the route to El Pedroso. However, those who wish can complete this section on foot.

We will prepare everything necessary to make your Camino de Santiago an unforgettable experience.
We depart directly from the Entreolivos hotel to undertake the next stage of the Camino de Santiago, El Pedroso-Cazalla de la Sierra (17 km).
We will stop to visit the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación, the main religious temple of El Pedroso from the 15th century. Among its most outstanding works is the first Immaculate Conception sculpted by Juan Martínez Montañés, located in the sacramental chapel. Inside, there are also Renaissance paintings influenced by the Italian artist Raphael.
We will follow the Cañada del Romero, Valsequillo, La Parrilla, Las Umbrías, San Francisco, Los Cardales, El Palomar, La Encarnación, Molino del Monte, La Vega, and El Moro until we reach Cazalla de la Sierra, where we will visit its main church.
We will also visit the Convent of San Francisco, founded in 1588 by Diego de Torres and funded by the town through alms.

This trail leads us to spectacular views of nature and the Sierra Norte of Seville, following a local path to the Alonso Viewpoint, named after Mr. Guillermo Alonso Rodríguez. After his death, his wife and children, who were nature and sports enthusiasts, donated the land for public use and enjoyment.
The trail is characterized by its short distance and the extraordinary beauty of its landscapes, which, along with its proximity to El Pedroso, make it an ideal option for a walk.
It is a 6 km hike with an accumulated elevation gain of 130 meters. It is an interpreted and guided route.
Afterward, we will stop for a guided tour of the Museum of Letters of El Pedroso. Here, besides being able to rewrite Don Quixote and learn about the history of writing, you will also learn about the history of El Pedroso and the significance of the mines in this area during the 19th century. This is the only museum in the world that houses a complete collection of all existing Planeta awards. You will also have the opportunity to hold an original Planeta award.
