Sierra Norte De Sevilla _ 030

From Hotel Entreolivos, we walk towards Bar Triana, where we turn left and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Almadén path. The first kilometers will surprise you with landscapes of "porrillas" granite formations, typical of the region. This stretch is divided into small family farms dedicated to extensive cattle and sheep farming. It's a place where tradition and nature embrace.

During the journey, you'll marvel at stunning landscapes, discover native flora and fauna, and breathe fresh air. We'll make a stop at the Granite Quarry, which has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. This quarry was vital during the construction boom of the 19th and 20th centuries. Today, its natural beauty and tourist interest make it a destination for geology and mining enthusiasts.

Continuing through the Dehesa de Barbosa, you'll be greeted with a landscape full of holm oaks and cork oaks. Its cultural history is reflected in the Cortijo de los Labrados de Barbosa, an architectural complex of great historical and cultural significance. This place has witnessed important events in history and is an example of rural architecture in the area. We'll stop for a well-deserved rest next to a large cork oak, a perfect spot to observe the rutting season and enjoy nature.

The journey continues along the creek, where you can enjoy wildlife and, with luck, spot otters or kingfishers. We'll head towards the Navahonda path, where you'll see a huge granite rock. The last 2 kilometers will take you through the Cazalla-Cantillana cattle track, until you reach El Pedroso, where you'll be greeted by the Hermitage of the Virgen del Espino. This iconic religious temple houses the patron saint of El Pedroso and holds deep spiritual significance in the local community.

This route offers you the opportunity to connect with nature and experience a unique adventure that fills you with optimism. Don't miss the chance to explore and discover El Pedroso!
