Midway through the route, we encounter the ruins of the El Pedroso Factory. These historic facilities were built in the late 19th century by the El Pedroso Mining and Manufacturing Company, constituting the first ironworks in Seville, to benefit from the area's iron minerals, particularly those from the Rosalino, Monteagudo, Juan Teniente, Navalázaro mines, and all those from Cerro del Hierro, located in San Nicolás del Puerto.
