DAY 1, SATURDAY: TARIFA – TANGIER – RABAT – CASABLANCA

08:00 hrs. Meet at the information point at the port of Tarifa and collect boarding passes.

09:00 hrs. Departure of the fast ferry to Tangier.

From the deck of the ship, the profile of the city's hills appears in all its splendor, dominated by two tall towers: the Mohammed V Mosque and the Spanish Cathedral. In the background, amidst the murmur of the waves, the sound of the muezzin calling to prayer can be heard, and it is then that we feel we have arrived at our destination, Morocco: the country of the senses.

At the port of Tangier, our driver will greet us and show us where we can exchange euros for dirhams at the port's banks.

We will continue our route towards Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom, located on the Atlantic coast, on the southern bank of the Bu Regreg river, which separates it from the neighboring city of Salé. Its foundation dates back to the 2nd century BC, with archaeological remains still preserved in a settlement known as Chellah.

In 1195, during the Almohad dynasty, Yaqub al-Mansur planned the construction of a large city that extended over more than four hundred hectares, surrounded by imposing walls and fortifications with five large gates. A great mosque with four hundred columns was to be built to surpass the Giralda in Seville and the Koutoubia in Marrakech, but construction was halted after his death in 1199. Only the minaret called Hassan Tower, standing 44 meters tall, twenty meters less than initially projected, survived.

Upon arrival, we will visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the famous Hassan Tower.

Lunch on your own.

After lunch, we will continue our route towards Casablanca.

We will continue our route towards Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco and the economic capital of the kingdom, located on the Atlantic coast south of the capital Rabat. It is the most populous city in the country, with almost 6 million inhabitants.

Arrival at the accommodation and room assignment.

DÍA 2, SUNDAY:  CASABLANCA – MARRAKECH

Breakfast and check out at 08:30 hrs.

Panoramic visit of Casablanca.

During this tour, we'll be able to admire the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque, designed by the French architect Michel Pinseau. It was inaugurated in 1993 after 22 years of work. This mosque is the tallest in the Arab world; the lights of its 200-meter-high minaret can be seen from several kilometers away. It is the second largest mosque after the one in Mecca. This architectural masterpiece incorporates the latest technologies such as earthquake resistance, a roof that opens automatically, heated floors, and electric doors. It is one of the few mosques in Morocco that allows visits by non-Muslim tourists (entrance fee not included).

Departure to Marrakech, the red pearl of southern Morocco.

Upon arrival, lunch at the hotel and room assignment.

Later, we will take a guided tour of Marrakech. We will start with an exterior visit to the Kutubia, the sister twin tower of the Sevillian Giralda. Then we will proceed to the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, the exterior of the Kasbah Mosque. We will end the day at Jmaa el Fna Square, which at this time of day becomes the greatest show on earth.

For those who wish, transportation will return to the hotel at 20:00 hrs. Those who do not wish to return to the hotel can stay in the square and return on their own.

Dinner on your own in Marrakech. However, the dinner of the renowned Chez Ali Fantasy Show, which represents the different tribes of Morocco and their traditions, will be offered as an option.

And for those who do not wish to attend, they can enjoy dinner at the restaurants around the square.

DÍA 3, MONDAY: MARRAKECH – TIZNTICHKA – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.

08:00 hrs. We continue our journey towards the great south of Morocco, crossing the majestic mountains of the High Atlas and the Tzi n Tichka pass, the gateway to the desert at 2,260 meters above sea level. Here, we will make a stop to contemplate the spectacular views that can be seen from there.

We will then head towards Ait Ben Haddou, one of the geological wonders of this planet, which has remained for millennia as a separate universe. We will visit a magnificent fortress that has served as the setting for renowned films such as "Lawrence of Arabia," "Gladiator," and "The Jewel of the Nile." It is composed of several buildings; the ochre of the adobe seems to blend with the dry land where a large stream once flowed, now converted into farmland.

After visiting this iconic place, we will continue towards Ouarzazate, a former garrison of French troops located in the southern part of the country, known for its agriculture and famous for the dates from its palm groves, the roses that grow on its banks, and henna.
