During the initial stretch of the route, you will witness vast olive plantations blending with eucalyptus, and you will be surprised by a recently built building that evokes the appearance of a religious monastery. As you ascend, you will be surrounded by pasturelands, chestnut trees, and olive trees, and on your right, you will find the Cueva del Lucero, an old mining gallery that served as a refuge in the 1950s.

Upon reaching the highest point of the trail, you will enjoy a gentle descent through olive groves, chestnut trees, cork oaks, pines, rockroses, and strawberry trees until you reach the viewpoint. From this point, you can contemplate a spectacular panoramic view of the town of El Pedroso, the Huéznar Reservoir, and the Navalazaro mining well.

In summary, this trail is an invitation to connect with nature, explore astonishing landscapes, and discover the history and beauty of El Pedroso, all in a short but unforgettable journey. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience in the heart of nature!

In the afternoon, we will take a heritage route through El Pedroso.

This charming route through El Pedroso takes you to discover its cultural and religious treasures in a welcoming and picturesque atmosphere. Let's explore together!

Starting at Hotel Entreolivos, we head towards the Mercado de Abastos, a picturesque place that comes to life during its traditional Street Fair at Prado No. 13. It's a corner full of authenticity and local culture.

Our walk takes us to the next gem: the Centro Cultural Escuelas Nuevas. This impressive place houses a museum space dedicated to the history of writing and education, as well as an exhibition on mining and geology in the Sierra Morena of Seville. A unique opportunity to learn and appreciate the richness of the region.

Continuing our stroll through Cervantes and Moret streets, we reach Pepe Lora Square, a cozy place with its white walls where you can take a break, enjoy the village, and capture unforgettable photographic memories.

The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación awaits us in the square of the same name, next to the Town Hall. This Catholic temple, dating back to the 15th century and inscribed in the General Catalog of Andalusian Historical Heritage, is a true architectural and historical treasure that you cannot miss.

About 600 meters away, following Pi y Margall and Cristo streets, you will find the Hermitage of Santísimo Cristo de la Misericordia and Nuestra Señora de los Dolores. This small rectangular building encloses an interior full of religious art, another jewel on your journey.

To conclude this enriching journey, we invite you to continue through Cristo and Zabalza Tajonar streets to the Casa Granja de la Cartuja. This historic building plays a prominent role in the history of the Carthusian monks in Cazalla de la Sierra, where they trained novices in their tasks. A place of great historical importance.
